- May 4: Bandits killed thirty-one in Maru, Zamfara.
- May 5: Gunmen abducted the Taraba permanent secretary in Jalingo, Taraba.
- May 5: Sectarian violence resulted in three deaths in Wukari, Taraba.
- May 6: Sectarian violence led to three deaths in Jama'are, Kaduna.
- May 6: Sectarian violence led to five deaths in Ardo-Kola, Kaduna.
- May 7: Boko Haram killed four soldiers and seven others in Jere, Borno.
